| (a) The Advisory Committee shall consist of experts in the specified research areas. (b) The Advisory Committee shall advise the Coordinating Board concerning the development of research priorities, guidelines, funding allocations, and procedures for the selection of specific projects for awards on a competitive, peer review basis. (c) The Advisory Committee shall determine funding to be allocated to each research area. (d) The Chairman of the Coordinating Board shall appoint members of the Advisory Committee, who shall serve for a term of three years. In making appointments the chairman shall include both representatives of Texas industry and Texas higher education. |
