CHAPTER 39SCABIES
RULE §39.1Definitions

The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

  (1) Exposed livestock--Livestock that are part of an exposed or infested herd.

  (2) Exposed or infested herd--Herd of livestock where one or more head have been confirmed to be infested with scabies mites. The exposed status continues until the prescribed course of treatment is completed.

  (3) Infested livestock--Livestock that have been confirmed to be infested with the scabies mite.

  (4) Livestock--Cattle, sheep, or goats.
