DIVISION 3ESTABLISHING THE 3E'S GRANT PROGRAM
RULE §26.52Statement of Purpose

The program is designed to award grants:

  (1) to organizations that participate in:

    (A) the Child and Adult Care Food Program as administered by the department;

    (B) the Head Start Program; or

    (C) other early childhood education programs; and

    (D) will use awarded funds to provide nutrition education to children between the ages of three and five years old; and

  (2) to community and faith based initiatives:

    (A) that provide recreational, social, volunteer, leadership, mentoring, or developmental programs; and

    (B) will use awarded funds to provide nutrition education to children younger than nineteen years old.
