The department shall charge a nonrefundable processing fee of $250 for permits authorized under this undesignated head, payable at the time of the notification required by §69.117 of this title (relating to Notification and Reporting for General Permits). If the department determines that a general permit is not authorized for an activity, the processing fee shall be applied to the application fee for an individual permit.
