| (a) Authority. Authority for this subchapter is provided in the Texas Education Code, Chapter 61, Subchapter L, Financial Aid for Professional Nursing Students and Vocational Nursing Students. These rules establish procedures to administer the subchapter as prescribed in the Texas Education Code, §§61.651, 65.652, and 61.655 - 61.658. (b) Purpose. The purpose of the Vocational Nursing Student Scholarship Programs is to promote the health care and health educational needs of the citizens of Texas. |
